Zhenghe Da Bai (政和大白茶) is the principal white-tea cultivar of Zhenghe County in northern Fujian, a large-leaf bush selected from local stock in the 19th century. It buds later than the Fuding cultivars and is traditionally grown with more shade, which shapes its distinctive style.

Zhenghe white tea is typically fuller-bodied, warmer and fruitier than the lighter, brighter Fuding style — more apricot and honey, with greater depth. Zhenghe Da Bai is the backbone of Zhenghe Bai Mudan and Silver Needle, and the Fuding-versus-Zhenghe contrast is the classic axis of Chinese white tea.
