Mengku Da Ye (勐庫大葉種) is the Yunnan large-leaf (assamica) population variety of the Mengku area in Lincang prefecture. Like Menghai Da Ye it is a seed-propagated big-leaf landrace rather than a single bred cultivar, and it is one of the most highly regarded pu'er raw materials in Yunnan.

Mengku material — especially from famed villages such as Bingdao — is prized for a robust yet notably sweet, aromatic cup with a strong huigan (returning sweetness). It ages well as sheng pu'er and is a cornerstone of the modern Lincang pu'er reputation.
